Methodology for the Organization and Development of the Entrance
Examination 2012 in the program for Master Studies

The methodology for the organization and development of the entrance
examination for the University year 2012 - 2013, was conceived under:
- The law of Education no. 84/1995, republished, with the subsequent
modifications and addenda;
- Laws no. 288/2004 regarding the University studies with the subsequent
modifications and addenda;
- On the basis of H.G. no. 404/2006 regarding the organization and development
of University studies of Major
- The decision of the Senate of the Victor Babes University of Medicine and
Pharmacy, Timisoara.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY MASTER STUDIES

The University Master Studies guarantee the specialization in the field or extension and
perfection of the attested training by the license diploma, and the graduates receive the
Diploma of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Victor Babes Timisoara
and the Diploma of European Master.
The Master programs can circulate according the decision of the Executive Office
of the Senate of „Victor Babes" University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

ORGANIZATION NORMS AND GENERAL CRITERIA OF ADMISSION

Master entrance examination is organized by the University in accordance with the
present methodology and the Minister's Order. It will be a public document, posted
on the University's' website www.umft.ro

The admission for the University Master Studies is regularly organized for each
program or by programs similar to the curricular area.
The admission of the candidates at the University master studies is done by
passing the entrance examination.
The entrance examination is organized and it takes place at the beginning of the
Master Program, regularly in September.
Minimum admission mean is 5 (five).



GENERAL TERMS FOR CONTEST REGISTRATION

To the master entrance examination can register - Romanian and foreign citizens, graduates with a
license diploma or it's correspondent from a Dentistry School, regardless of the number of years of
study, institute and year in which the candidate obtained the license diploma or it's correspondent.


I. Documents for pre-registration (applicable to ALL foreign citizens)
1. Personal data
2. Application form for a Letter of acceptance (non-EU countries)
3. Request for the validation of the high-school diploma (EU, EEA countries,
Swiss Confederation)
4. 2 authenticated copies of the high-school diploma (authenticated by a notary
public for EU countries and by the Foreign Ministry and the Romanian
Embassy in the country of issue for non-EU countries );
5. 2 authenticated copies and 2 authenticated translations of the transcript of
records (authenticated by a notary public for EU countries and by the
Foreign Ministry and the Romanian Embassy in the country of issue for non-
EU countries )
6. 2 translations into Romanian of the high-school diploma, (authenticated by a
notary public for EU countries and by the Foreign Ministry and the Romanian
Embassy in the country of issue for non-EU countries );
7. 2 authenticated copies of the bachelor diploma (for graduates wishing to
pursue post-graduate or doctoral studies); 8. 2 authenticated translations of the bachelor diploma (for graduates wishing
to pursue post-graduate or doctoral studies);
9. Birth certificate - 2 authenticated copies and 2 authenticated Romanian
translations;
10. Marriage licence - 2 authenticated copies and 2 authenticated Romanian
translations (if applicable);
11. 2 photocopies of the ID or passport, including of the page containing the
study visa (where applicable);
12. 6 Photographs (passport size);
13. Health Certificate stating that:
- the candidate has been immunised for B Hepatitis
- the candidate suffers / does not suffer from chronic disorders
- the candidate is mentally fit to pursue medical higher education
14. 2 plastic folders and 12 transparent plastic pockets;
15. Processing fee of 150 Euro (non-refundable), paid into the following bank
